Overview

This page is intended for developers who would like to build their own products, apps, and services using Captions’ models and APIs. If you would simply like to use the Captions API to generate and edit videos for your own company (and not your end users), please visit our API Reference Guide.

Brand & Design Requirements

Captions attribution is a requirement for all integrations. You must:

Clearly display “Powered by Captions” in a conspicuous location and reasonable size.
Link “Powered by Captions” to https://www.captions.ai/.
Not imply any kind of endorsement by Captions, Inc.

Example

If you were to offer your customers the ability to generate a video using the AI Creator API, you must clearly place “Powered by Captions” in a conspicuous location near your primary CTA and it must link to our website.

Approval

While it is not required to submit your app for approval, we do recommend notifying us if you plan to use a Captions API in an app you offer to end users. Please email [email protected] and provide a link or video recording of your designs or working app.

Terms & Misuse

Please review our API Terms. If we discover misuse, or that brand and design requirements are not being adhered to, we reserve the right to disable access.
